Hotel The Vine

The Vine Hotel, built in Funchal Centrum, Madeira, is a 5-star hotel designed by the Catalan architect Ricardo Bofill, in collaboration with the architect Joao Francisco Caires; Nini Andrade Silva is responsible for the interior design.

After visiting The Vine, Alberto João Jardim, President of the Regional Government commented that the hotel can be considered as one of the "wonders of the world," "a magnificent work of architecture." According to the businessman Antonio Henriques the hotel’s design "celebrates the wine of Madeira”
